WHAT IS HBOT?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is the use of oxygen as a medical treatment in a safe, slightly pressurized environment. The specialized treatment takes place under highly controlled conditions and results in a broad variety of positive affects at the body’s cellular level.
High levels of oxygen consumed in the chamber dissolve into all the body’s fluids, including plasma and central nervous system fluids. Once consumed, this oxygen stimulates the levels of DNA present in each cell, helping to substantially accelerate the healing process.
Increased pressure allows the oxygen to saturate blood plasma, increasing oxygen levels in all organs of the body, reaching inflamed tissue and supporting optimal cellular regeneration and organ functionality.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) treatment has for centuries been used to improve or cure disorders involving hypoxia and ischemia, by enhancing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the plasma and thereby increasing O2 delivery to the tissue.
Increased pressure and oxygen delivery from the HBOT chamber allows for oxygen to dissolve and saturate the blood plasma which yields a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical and cellular effects. It’s a noninvasive therapy that increases oxygen levels to all organs of the body. The patient simply lies down in the spacious chamber with a clear window and breathes normally during a typical 60 to 90-minute treatment. The staff is always nearby and easy to contact.
