Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP therapy concentrates a patient’s own platelets and growth factors and delivers them directly into damaged tissue.

Led by Bend’s Regenerative Medicine Expert

Dr. Payson Flattery is Bend’s only Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physician focused exclusively on the treatment of orthopedic pain and injury using regenerative medicine. He integrates naturopathic care, diagnostic ultrasound, and orthopedic-guided injections to support tissue repair, joint stability, and functional recovery. With more than 25 years of full-time regenerative medicine experience, Dr. Flattery has performed thousands of procedures and is considered a regional expert in prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), adipose-derived stem cell therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to stimulate cellular healing.

Diagnostic Ultrasound Guided PRP Injections

More than 17 years ago, Dr. Flattery incorporated diagnostic ultrasound into his clinical workflow, allowing him to visually identify injured structures such as rotator cuff fibers, ligaments, or tendon degeneration—and guide injections with precision. This image-guided model supports accuracy, appropriate dosing, and targeted treatment plans.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

HBOT exposes the body to 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure, helping drive oxygen deeper into tissue, influence cellular metabolism, and support recovery in poorly perfused or injured structures.

HBOT is used clinically for orthopedic injury recovery, chronic inflammation, post-surgical support, and neurologic/metabolic repair strategies.
